My weekend:

My family and a friend went to a festival on Saturday!
You know your at a good old fashioned festival in the smokies, when you first pull up to this!

There was fabulous jewelry.

This cracks me up.

There were also cute little shops.

Okay guys. I was really stepping out of my box here. I can officially say that I have touched a lama. See. There I am. Touching the lama.

This band was awesome! I loved them! They played in different areas all over the festival. And so. I followed them. Everywhere. And took their picture.  They loved it though.

Here they all are on the big stage. The band name is "Walking in Tradition'" you can look them up on youtube.

Someone.... Can clog and play the guitar. I'm sorry, that's awesome.
The band. Again.

Cute old cloggers.

What's really cool, is that there are all of these young people in bands, or just playing together, with all of the old people. It was really neat.

So then Abby, Kayla, Alyssa and I, decided to walk down the road to another festival. It's just "right down the road"? Kayla said. HA. We walked and walked and walked. until' Kayla said "I'm a really bad judge at distances." Really? haha. We finally made it. It was raining, so at least we were kept cool!

Here Abby and I are at the other festival.

Alyssa and Kayla.

Now look miserable......... Good Job girls.

Now lets be goofy! (What we *ahem* happen to do best.)

Hope you enjoyed! I should have some more coming soon!

Love you all!

Pink apples? Serious!

Go here if you want to see a PINK APPLE! http://twitpic.com/2mihbb This is a link to my twitpic. (my twitter photo thing.) We bought these in a health food store, and didn't know that they were ACTUALLY pink. Well we didn't know until mom took a bite, and was like "Oh my Gosh!! There seriously pink! ahh!"

A girls dream come true right?

Don't bother asking I have no idea how they made them pink, they were at a health food store so they can't be bad for you, right?

If you know how they got them pink, let me know!

Be The Change

Hello everyone!

I have been reading Be the Change by Zach Hunter. I thought It was mainly about fighting against Child Slavery. Which if you know me, you know that if it's fighting for helpless children, that's all you have to say and I want to learn more.

But it's about so much more than I first expected. This book is right up there with Do Hard Things. Do Hard Things is about beating the system, of low expectations for teens. Which is all great.

Be the Change, is the proof that it's possible.

I was assuming that Zach Hunter was just out going, and a total people person. (because he's the author of a book right?)  He is out going, but he wasn't always. (you have to read the book yourself)

I'm loving it so far. I highly recommend it.

Quick Verse:

He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.
3 How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
4 They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. Selah
5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
8Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Selah

Hope you all have a fabulous night!

Love you!

September 11, 2001.

world_trade_center_view_from_epa.jpg

I remember this day so vividly. I was only five. You don't think I would have been able to grasp the concept of something like that. But I have.

imgres.jpg

2,977 people died, and over 4,000 were injured.

imgres.jpg

Please be remembering the families of the 2,977 people who lost there lives that day.

I was going to post a video, but I couldn't find a video that didn't have graphic pictures. And I see the photos as that's what happened, it's reality, and we have to face that. It's also horrific.

Thank you to everyone who protects this country, thank you airport security. Even though we sometimes find it a hassle/annoying to have to go through so much security, there saving our lives. And most of us aren't even appreciative.

God Bless your Saturday!

Love to you all!

God Bless ya'lls days!

Surprise!!!!

Okay, I'm like so happy to have 42 followers! So happy, that I decided to start a little game. (kinda'.)

"Follower of the month" Once a month I will draw a name. 1 name (possibly yours) out of 42 are your odds. Or how ever many more followers I will have in the future.

IF You are chosen (only by chance) as Follower of the month,

and if you have a working blog, I will comment telling you, and do a post about your blog highly suggesting it to other bloggers.

Is this a good Idea do you like the Idea??? I'm so not sure. I like it. But it's important to me what my followers and readers think.

We were staying on 300 acres owned by the family that was holding the family camp. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL! ahhh. I can't say enough about it.
We met so many wonderful people!

Abby was trying to get me in the picture..... I was in the tent taking down my sponge curlers.... yeah. I was determined not to look bad... I'm not sure if I succeed.

Carolyn! She was lovely to talk to! Such wonderful conversations!

Mr. Rick Grubbs, was our guest speaker. He spoke on time management. What an excellent topic!

Coolness.
